PDF summarization questions
What types of documents can be summarised?
Any text-based or scanned PDF: contracts, board reports, technical proposals, research papers, due diligence packs, RFP responses and legal briefs. Scanned pages go through OCR first so the AI has clean text to read.
Can the summary follow a fixed structure?
Yes. You tell us what matters — for example a contract needs parties, term, obligations and termination clauses, while a report needs findings, risks and recommendations. We build that structure into the prompt so every run returns the same shape.
How long should the summary be?
As long or short as you like. You can request a one-paragraph executive summary, a half-page brief, or a detailed breakdown by section. The length is fixed per tool and you can have several tools for different document types.
Does it quote the source?
Every summary point can link back to the page and passage it came from, so you can jump to the original text to verify a claim before acting on it.
What happens to sensitive documents?
Files are processed for the run and stored against your account only. Each customer's data is isolated by row-level security, and access is limited to your own users.
